Tom-
Only bringing 1 jeep, did a few changes to the tube jeep so that’s the one we’re bringing. Will probably retire the red jeep to use just around the property – it works great as a log skidder. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

There was talk this past weekend that we might just camp at Cougar Buttes rather than at the event. We think we’d like to wheel the Bullfrog/Cakewalk trails rather than the Hammer trails. Since Bullfrog/Cakewalk is a planned trail and it is a 20 minute drive from the event to these trailheads, we might as well camp at the trailhead. Thoughts?

I agree, this is one of my favorite areas. The majority of the trails are not difficult but the hard ones are HARD. Most are very scenic trails. Plus I would like to see some new trails.

Bob & I spoke about going out to The Hammers this weekend to attend the event but not to run the Hammer trails. We thought we’d just do our own trails as a shake-down trip for the Purple Buggy’s new engine and coilover set-up. Anyone else interested in just doing our own thing out there?
